    Dindayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Promotion Mission hope (MSRLM)

    In Maharashtra, it is implemented under the name “UMED-Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Promotion Mission”. According to the Economic Caste Survey of the Society 2011, the inclusion of families in rural areas.

    • To empower women in rural areas, Establishment of women’s community based organizations.
    • Women Self Help Groups : 26,469
    • Village organisations of all Self Help Groups in villages: 1,333
    • Cluster Level Federations of VOs at ward level: 68
    • Scheme Implementation through following steps
    1. Participation of at least one woman in each poor family in Self Help Group.
    2. Community resources person (CRP) Implementation at village level.
    3. Creating Sustainable Livelihoods: Every family has at least two sources of livelihood and at least annually 1 Lakh of Income to make “lakhpati didi” women.
    4. Provision of financial services and government benefits: To provide various financial services such as unbacked financial assistance, bank loans and other financial services to groups through campaigns.
    5. Women in self-help groups are encouraged to set up business enterprises. Also to market the goods produced by them. Various fairs, Sales of products are facilitated by organizing sales exhibitions.
    6. Building an enabling economy by uplifting the economic status of rural households: Dedicated, To bring prosperity to the lives of the rural poor through sensitive and independent mechanisms.
