Atal Worker Housing Scheme

According to Government Decision Ivanka 2018/Pro.No.208/Kamgar 7 dated 14th January 2019 from Industries, Power and Labor Department, Government of Maharashtra, benefits are given to the construction workers registered (active) in rural areas with the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Welfare Board under the Atal Construction Workers (Rural) Awas Yojana.

• Beneficiary selection criteria

1. Construction worker should be registered (active) at the time of application should be registered as construction worker with Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Welfare Board for more than one consecutive year.
2. Registered (active) construction workers in the name of self/spouse in the state of Maharashtra for concrete (cement, sandbuilt) should not be a house.
3. A registered (active) construction worker should have own land in his/her/spouse’s name to build a concrete house or can construct a house in a place where there is an owned kacha house.
